Even though I have painted numerous rooms & things in my life, I feel like a rookie every time. Had to put some color on these white walls, and I really like this green. Was hoping I spent enough money on a good paint to get 'er done in one coat. Well, after it dried it was pretty splotchy.... that is a word, isn't it? Didn't use a primer becasue the room was already painted. Am guessing the painting pads left too thin a coat compared to the roller. I guess I'm going back for another gallon. Have you had any painting disasters? Or maybe tips I can use? Feel free to comment.

Larry - I have to say I love the colour green that you chose ... I have the same colour on my family room walls !
Here is my painting disaster story and a lesson about the power of what you listen to...While I was painting my daughter's room this summer I was listening to some recordings on my ipod...As I listened I realized that on the recording was some teaching from someone who had been a close friend who I later found out was a complete fraud (I mean literally had gone to jail for fraud and hidden it from everyone). As I heard this person speak I stopped paying attention to what I was doing and ended up dumping the WHOLE CAN OF PAINT on myself ... lesson - be careful of what you listen to !
Just wanted to add that that is why I love PRAISE 106.5 and it is the ONLY station we listen to in my car !!! Jan Elizabeth
